Baptist Health has reached a definitive agreement to add Drew Memorial Health System in Monticello to the Baptist Health system. The acquisition will be subject to customary regulatory approvals, and in the interim, Baptist Health will immediately begin managing Drew Memorial Health System’s general operations.

The Washington Regional J.B. Hunt Transport Services Cancer Support Home will offer free clinical breast exams during a breast health clinic on Oct. 14 from 9 a.m. – noon. The clinic will be held at The Breast Center, a MANA Clinic, 55 W. Sunbridge Dr. in Fayetteville. Space is limited and appointments are required.

WASHINGTON -- Arkansas' U.S. Sen. John Boozman helped introduce legislation Thursday to expand a federal grant program to university initiatives addressing mental health among college athletes.
The Targeting Emotional Mental Stability Act would allow universities to seek funding for creating and maintaining programs for athletes, including peer-to-peer counseling, crisis lines and campuswide outreach addressing the stigma of seeking mental health services.
