The George and Linda Gleason Foundation has given $100,000 to the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS), split evenly among the Department of Neurology in the College of Medicine and the Psychiatric Research Institute.
The Gleasons were on hand June 19 to present a check to R. Lee Archer, MD, chair of the Department of Neurology, and G. Richard Smith, MD, director of the Psychiatric Research Institute and chair of the Department of Psychiatry in the UAMS College of Medicine.

CHI St. Vincent Hot Springs welcomes Dr. Edward Kramer to the team of neurologists at the CHI St. Vincent Neurology Clinic. Kramer brings more than 20 years of experience in the field, including his specialty in electromyography, a diagnostic procedure to assess the health of muscles and the nerve cells that control them.
Kenita Davis, APRN, recently joined the Washington Regional stroke program where she provides evaluation and treatment for stroke patients in the hospital.
