Baptist Health Surgical Clinic of Central Arkansas recently welcomed Jodie Clementson, DO.

Clementson received a medical education from the Rocky Vista University College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed a general surgery residency at Oklahoma State University Medical Center as well as a breast surgical oncology fellowship at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences.

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) has received a $100,000 gift from Larry and Sandy Mahoney to create the Brendan Lawrence Mahoney, MD, Endowed Scholarship in the UAMS College of Medicine.

The scholarship was made in honor of their son Brendan Lawrence Mahoney, MD, who is a 2020 graduate of the College of Medicine and is currently practicing emergency medicine in Kansas City, Mo..
