Savannah Lewis, a licensed professional counselor, recently joined Methodist Family Health’s counseling clinic in Magnolia as program coordinator. She will provide supervision, consultation, in-service training, and related support services to the staff in the Magnolia clinic and school-based program in El Dorado. She also will provide individual, family, and group therapy based on the needs of individuals served in these communities.

The 18th Annual UAMS Midsouth Summit Black Expo, presented by the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS), is holding a free event highlighting health education, cancer screenings, minority-owned businesses, and family-friendly entertainment.
The expo is scheduled for 9 a.m.-4 p.m. July 30 at The Venue at Westwind, 7318 Windsong Drive in North Little Rock. Admission is free.

Craig Levoy, MD, board-certified in family medicine, recently joined the active medical staff of Northwest Health as medical director of the Community Quality Alliance (CQA). Levoy also will be accepting new patients at Northwest Medical Plaza – Bentonville located at 601 SW Regional Airport Blvd. in Bentonville.
As medical director of the CQA, Levoy will be working with the Northwest Health team, under the guidance of the executive director and board of trustees, to support its network of providers by helping achieve the clinical goals and priorities of the CQA.

Northwest Health announced Northwest Medical Center – Bentonville Wound Care and Hyperbaric Center is a recipient of RestorixHealth’s 2021 Clinical Distinction Award. Recipients of this biannual award meet or exceed national quality benchmarks over a set period of time. These benchmarks include wound healing rates and safety goals.

This is the first time that CHI St. Vincent has been recognized with this honor as one of the top performing health systems in the U.S. The annual list was published by Fortune. Merative, a data, analytics and technology partner for the health industry, has identified the top health systems from a rigorous evaluation of 349 health systems and 3,206 hospitals that are members of health systems. The annual list recognizes excellence in clinical outcomes, operational efficiency, and patient experience.
