First Security/Crews & Associates and Stephens Inc. will serve as presenting sponsors for the annual Arkansas Prostate Cancer Foundation Blue Ribbon Bash fundraiser on Sept. 25 at the Little Rock Marriott.
“We’re incredibly thankful for the support and participation of First Security/Crews & Associates and Stephens Inc. as our presenting sponsors,” said APCF Executive Director Chris Collier. “No matter where we work or what we do, we must all be aware of prostate cancer and the threat it poses to men’s health in our state.”
Prostate cancer is the most common cancer affecting men and one out of every nine men in Arkansas will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime. This year’s Blue Ribbon Bash will honor Mark Hayes, executive director of the Arkansas Municipal League and long-time advocate for prostate cancer awareness in the state.
“I’ve had the pleasure of working with Mark and his colleagues at the Arkansas Municipal League for over 20 years,” said Paul Phillips, senior managing director at Crews & Associates. “His distinguished leadership and passion to serve are exhibited every day in his service to over 500 cities and towns in the state of Arkansas. I’m convinced that Mark’s passion is being involved in our communities and trying to help others.”
The Blue Ribbon Bash fundraiser will include silent and live auctions to support APCF. All money raised remains in Arkansas to support APCF’s free awareness and educational programs, free prostate cancer screenings, and free patient assistance programs.
“At Stephens Inc., we are acutely aware of the impact that the Arkansas Prostate Cancer Foundation is having on the lives that prostate cancer has affected and for those at risk,” said Larry Middleton, executive vice president of Stephens Inc. “We are inspired by the mission of improving treatment and bringing more awareness through education and are pleased to be a part of the movement toward a healthier tomorrow for Arkansans.”
Tickets for the Blue Ribbon Bash are $150 each or $1500 for a table of 10. To learn more about the event and purchase tickets, visit blueribbonbash.com.
