Baptist Health Community Outreach Offers Free Monthly 'Stop the Bleed' Training in Little Rock

Because death from bleeding can occur within three to five minutes, being prepared for medical emergencies is crucial. To help equip the public, Baptist Health Community Outreach is hosting a recurring monthly “Stop the Bleed” class.

The program operates under the important reminder that "Training Today Can Save a Life Tomorrow." This free training session teaches community members exactly what it takes to step in and “Stop the Bleed” before emergency responders arrive.

During each one-hour session, participants will:

-Recognize life-threatening bleeding.

-Practice life-saving skills.

-Earn a certificate.

The recurring classes are currently scheduled for Sept. 29, Oct. 29 and Nov. 16. Each session will run from 5:30-6:30 p.m. All training sessions will be held in person at the Baptist Health Community Outreach office, located at 10117 Kanis Road in Little Rock.
