Baptist Health Family Clinic-Otter Creek Welcomes New Providers

Dr. Erica Stokes and APRN Fred Spears recently joined Baptist Health Family Clinic-Otter Creek in Little Rock.  

Stokes earned her medical degree from the University of Miami’s Miller School of Medicine in 2013. She then completed a one-year residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Nashville General Hospital in Tennessee and a three-year residency in family medicine at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences.

A pharmacist for five years before returning to medical school, Stokes’ pharmaceutical expertise, along with being fluent in Spanish, gives her patients an added level of care.

Spears, who earned his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Henderson State University, has 22 years of diverse nursing experience in medical/surgical, management, and hospice care. In 2017, he completed his Master of Science in Nursing from UAMS. Spears’ most recent employment was with Baptist Health Occupational Health. He is certified to perform DOT physicals. In addition, he is certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners as an adult/gerontology primary care nurse practitioner.

Stokes and Spears are joining Dr. Stephen Snyder at Baptist Health Family Clinic-Otter Creek, which is located in the Baptist Health Southwest Medical Arts Building at 11321 Interstate 30, Suite 101, in Little Rock. The clinic is open Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. and Fridays from 8 a.m.- 12 noon. Spears is also available to see patients during extended office hours Monday through Thursday from 7:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m.
