CommonSpirit Health Appoints Bob Sarkar to Leadership Position

CHI St. Vincent announced that its parent company, CommonSpirit Health, has named Bob Sarkar as market vice president of population health and physician alignment on an interim basisective June 30. 

In this role, Sarkar will oversee CommonSpirit’s Clinically Integrated Network (CIN) across its Tennessee/Georgia, Kentucky, Arkansas, and Ohio markets.

“Bob is a proven leader with a deep understanding of value-based care and an unwavering commitment to innovation in population health,” CHI St. Vincent Market President Chad Aduddell said. “His leadership will be instrumental as we continue to expand and align our clinical networks to better serve our communities.”

Sarkar brings more than 30 years of healthcare experience and has been with CHI St. Vincent since 2015, when he was appointed president of Arkansas Health Network (AHN).

In this interim position, Sarkar will help advance CommonSpirit’s population health strategy while continuing to foster collaboration across markets and care teams.

Sarkar holds an MBA from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology from the University of Kentucky. He is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives and other professional organizations.
