Hiring fairs are being held as construction nears completion on the new stand-alone Northwest Health ER Fayetteville emergency department. Events are set for 7-9 a.m. and 5-7 p.m. on Tuesday-Thursday, Jan. 14-16 at the facility, which is located at 1255 S Shiloh Drive in Fayetteville (former site of the Clarion Hotel). The new multi-million dollar facility is scheduled to open in early March.
The 10,300 square-foot facility will house advanced technology, including a 64-slice CT scanner. The 24/7 emergency department is an extension of services for Northwest Health.
Among the positions being filled are registered nurses, paramedics, respiratory therapists, medical technologists, CT/X-ray techs, and registrars.
“We’re excited to expand our presence in the community of Fayetteville,” said Denten Park, market CEO for Northwest Health. “It’s a thriving community with significant growth potential. We’ve experienced increasing demand for our services through our existing providers here, including primary care and urgent care in addition to Northwest Health Physicians’ Specialty Hospital, and we look forward to opening this new stand-alone ER to meet the growing demand and expand care options here.”
Tiffany Means, DNP, MHA, CENP, is the department’s director and Dr. Danelle Richards, MD, BCEM, is the medical director.
