Interventional Cardiologist Deepali Tukaye, MD, PhD, Joins Conway Regional Clinic

Deepali Tukaye, MD, PhD, a board-certified interventional cardiologist, has joined Drs. Don Steely and Lensey Scott in practice at the Conway Regional Cardiovascular Clinic.

“We are thrilled to have Dr. Tukaye join the Cardiovascular Clinic. Dr. Tukaye’s extensive knowledge and training is another great addition to our team, and will expand our capacity to manage cardiovascular patients locally,” said Matt Troup, President and CEO. “At Conway Regional, we pride ourselves on managing patient needs in Conway, and the addition of Dr. Tukaye is an extension of our commitment to our community”.

Dr. Tukaye comes to Conway Regional from CHI-St. Vincent. Dr. Tukaye has completed a fellowship in Interventional Cardiology at Emory University in Atlanta, and has completed a fellowship in Cardiovascular Medicine from The Ohio State University in Columbus. She also completed a residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Louisville, and has a PhD in Cellular and Molecular Physiology from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.

Steely and Scott for the community,” said Dr. Tukaye. “I have found people in Conway to be very welcoming and look forward to providing outstanding cardiovascular care to Faulkner County and the surrounding area.”

Cardiologists treat patients who have risks or symptoms of cardiovascular diseases, such as heart failure, heart attacks, angina, and heart valve problems. They also treat patients with leg pain and peripheral artery disease, a common circulatory problem in which narrowed arteries reduce blood flow to the limbs.
