The Arkansas Children's Hospital Auxiliary held its fifth annual Race for a Healthier Tomorrow on Oct. 7, and raised more than $45,000 to support expert pediatric care at Arkansas Children's Hospital.
More than 775 people registered for the event as a timed 5K race, family walk, or virtual participant. The 5K race began and ended at the front entrance of the Arkansas State Capitol. Jillian Hastings and Maeghan Overley, the race co-chairs, expressed their gratitude to the sponsors, participants, and volunteers for making the event a success.
