Saline Health System Names New Chief Nursing Officer

Saline Memorial Hospital announced recently that Char Boulch has been named as the hospital’s chief nursing officer.

She attended nursing school and went to work in the emergency department at North Broward Medical Center in Florida. Over the next 20 years, she progressed in her career from assistant nurse manager to department director to assistant chief nursing officer. Her most recent position was chief nursing officer at Willamette Valley Medical Center in Oregon.

“We are excited to welcome Char to the Saline Health System family,” CEO Michael Stewart said. “She has a strong background in nurse recruitment, training and engagement, and she has also demonstrated a deep commitment to improving patient satisfaction and safe, high-quality care.’”

In addition to being a registered nurse, Boulch earned a bachelor's degree in nursing from South University and a master's degree in nurse leadership from Walden University. She is currently working on earning a doctorate degree in nursing practice.
