The Arkansas Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs)/Resilience Workgroup is sponsoring a summit entitled Every Child, in Every Community Sept. 25-16. Formed in May 2017, the workgroup is a cross-sector collaboration of 260 individuals representing about 200 organizations and government agencies in healthcare, public health, education, law enforcement, human services, mental health, churches and businesses.
A special award and recognition will be given during the event’s networking luncheon to First Lady Susan Hutchinson for her efforts to address adverse childhood experiences in Arkansas.
All sponsors include Arkansas Children’s Trust Fund/DHS Division of Children and Family Services, AFMC, Arkansas Times, Arkansas Association for Infant Mental Health, Arkansas Minority Health Commission, Pulaski Heights United Methodist Church, Arkansas Department of Health, Arkansas Hunger Relief Alliance, and School-based Health Alliance of Arkansas.
