Arkansas Urology announced that nationally recognized men’s health expert, Ken Mitchell, PA, has joined its practice.
Mitchell, a certified physician assistant who has presented both nationally and internationally on men’s health, joins Arkansas Urology, bringing with him more than 26 years of clinical experience and more than 24 years of experience in men’s health and male erectile and sexual dysfunction.

Mitchell authored and implemented an innovative treatment protocol, The Surgical Impotence Management Strategy (SIMS©), which provides comprehensive patient education and delivery of care for men undergoing prostate cancer treatment.

Mitchell received a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Dana College and a Masters in Physician Assistant Studies (MPAS) at the University of Nebraska Physician Assistant Program. Prior to joining Arkansas Urology, Mitchell founded GUYnecology™ Men’s Health, whose mission is to educate men and train health care providers on all areas related to men’s health, and served as an assistant professor and the founding program director of the PA Sciences Program at Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tenn.
