UAMS To Offer Free Traumatic Brain Injury Workshop Aug. 25

The TBI State Partnership Program and the Trauma Rehabilitation Resources Program at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) will host a Traumatic Brain Injury Resources Workshop on Aug. 25.

Both host programs fall under UAMS’ Institute for Digital Health & Innovation, and they have partnered with several entities throughout the state to provide educational and professional resources for people living with a traumatic brain injury (TBI), including information for their family members, caregivers and health care providers.

Workshop attendees will learn about:

·     Free resources in Arkansas

·     Digital health clinics 

·     Free 24/7 Nurse Triage Call Center

·     Online TBI support groups

·     Arkansas State Plan for TBI
