Legacy Spine & Neurological Specialists (Legacy) announces the addition of Dominic Maggio, MD, to its team of neurosurgeons and spine focused neurologists. Maggio will provide his expertise in minimally invasive spine (MIS) and complex spine neurosurgery to the patients of Legacy.

Maggio holds a Bachelor of Science in Neurobiology with a minor in chemistry, a master’s degree in business administration, and a doctorate degree in medicine from the University of Miami. Maggio has received several national awards and recognitions along with his published and peer-reviewed research. Prior to joining the clinic, Maggio served as the CEO of NEVA Scientific, LLC, and also worked at Ophysio, Inc., based in Miami, Fla. He is a member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, the Congress of Neurological Surgeons, and the American Medical Association.
