Baptist Health Nurses Named to 2022 40 Nurse Leaders Under 40 List

The Arkansas Center for Nursing recently announced three Baptist Health nurses on its annual 40 Nurse Leaders Under 40 list. They are:

Lindsey Bourne, MNSc, APRN, AGACNP-BC, ANVC-BC, has worked at Baptist Health in various job titles since 2005, starting as an intern and now as a stroke nurse practitioner. Bourne graduated with an RN diploma from Baptist Health College Little Rock, received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing through Arkansas Tech University, and then completed an AGACNP certification at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. In 2020, she received the Association of Neurovascular Clinicians (ANVC) Year of the Nurse and Midwife award, and in 2019, she was named to the Great 100 Nurses Celebration of Arkansas.

Nycole Oliver, DNP, of Baptist Health Family Clinic-Dodson Avenue has spent much of her nearly 20-year career in healthcare within the walls of Baptist Health-Fort Smith. Oliver earned a Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of South Alabama in 2015. Oliver has won numerous awards from the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and the Emergency Nurses Association. She was also named one of Arkansas Center for Nursing’s 40 Nurse Leaders Under 40 in 2019. She is a graduate of both Leadership Fort Smith and Leadership Arkansas. 

Monique Thammavong, DNP, of Baptist Health Family Clinic-Van Buren earned a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from University of Arkansas for Medical Science in Little Rock. Thammavong speaks both Laotian and Thai. She was also a member of Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society of Nursing and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and received an Outstanding Clinical Performance Award during her BSN studies. Thammavong provides acute care and disease management for patients of Crawford County.

The Arkansas Center for Nursing’s mission is to promote a culture of health for the citizens of Arkansas by advancing nursing education, practice, leadership and workforce development. 

Honorees will be recognized in a ceremony on Oct. 10 at the Benton Event Center in Benton.
