CHI St. Vincent announces that cardiologist Stephen Broughton, MD, has joined the team of specialists at the CHI St. Vincent Cardiology and Medicine Clinic in Little Rock. Broughton is now seeing patients at the clinic, located at 5315 West 12th Street.
After attending medical school at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, Broughton completed a residency in internal medicine at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, N.C. Most recently, Broughton completed an interventional cardiology fellowship training immediately following a cardiology fellowship program at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Pittsburgh, Pa. Broughton is certified in cardiovascular medicine and interventional cardiology by the American Board of Internal Medicine and is a member of the National Medical Association, the American Heart Association, and the Association of Black Cardiologists.
