Geriatric Care Conference is Oct. 9-11

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) Donald W. Reynolds Institute on Aging will host its 2025 Geriatrics Updates conference Oct. 9-11, providing an opportunity for health professionals, patients, caregivers, and community members to learn about the latest findings in geriatric care.

This year’s conference will focus on the theme of “Living and Loving Longevity.” Sessions will cover such topics as cancer, cardiopulmonary conditions, endocrine and gastrointestinal disorders, infectious diseases, neurocognitive impairment, and pharmacology. The final day will offer resources and support for caregivers and people who are living with dementia.

The conference is free for community members, though registration is required. Those who register can choose which days they would like to attend the conference, which will be held at the Reynolds Institute on Aging, 629 Jack Stephens Drive in Little Rock, and virtually via Zoom. Lunch will be provided for in-person attendees.
