Miranda Franco, APRN, is now seeing patients at Baptist Health Family Clinic-Bismarck, where previously she spent five years as a nurse.

Franco received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Arkansas at Monticello and additional training as a family practice nurse practitioner from Walden University.

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) has partnered with the Arkansas State Crime Laboratory to offer a one-year fellowship in forensic pathology, starting July 1, 2024.

The fully accredited fellowship program, recently approved by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME), is open to physicians who have completed a residency program in anatomic or anatomic/clinical pathology and who are board-certified or board-eligible.

The American Heart Association (AHA) is recognizing Mercy Fort Smith with its Gold Plus, Target: Stroke Elite Honor Roll, and Target: Type 2 Diabetes Honor Roll awards. Recognition is based on 2022 calendar year data submitted.
