CARTI announced Kristopher P. Magnuson, MD, as director of anesthesia for its new on-site surgery center. Along with Magnuson, the facility is expected to create 80 new jobs, bringing CARTI’s total employment to more than 950.
Baptist Health Urgent Care has opened additional locations in Hot Springs at Central Ave. and Franklin St. and in Russellville by First State Bank. The new centers complement existing clinics in Hot Springs and Russellville.

CHI St. Vincent announces the reopening of its radiology imaging center in West Little Rock. The CHI St. Vincent Imaging Center - West creates access to a multitude of imaging services, including CT, MRI, ultrasound, and X-Ray services. Radiology Associates, P.A. (RAPA) will manage the new facility in partnership with CHI St. Vincent.
Ashley Randall, APRN, has joined the team at Baptist Health Heart Failure and Transplant Institute in Little Rock.
Randall, a Jacksonville native, received a medical education from Walden University. She is board-certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners in family practice, and specializes in cardiology and advanced heart failure.
Little Rock spine surgeon, Wayne L. Bruffett, MD, has joined the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) as an assistant professor in the UAMS College of Medicine’s Department of Orthopaedic Surgery.
