This holiday season, Baptist Health Community Outreach invites Arkansans to participate in the free Maintain, Don't Gain Challenge, designed to empower individuals to maintain or even achieve weight loss goals during a time often associated with holiday weight gain.

The six-week challenge runs from Nov. 24, to Jan. 5, 2026. Registration is open until Nov. 19.

Participants will track their weight and set personal goals each Monday, and receive weekly emails with healthy living tips, including:

-Healthy recipes to navigate holiday meals

Baptist Health Breast Centers and Baptist Health Foundation announced a partnership with the National Breast Cancer Foundation to provide free mammograms and additional breast imaging services for uninsured or low-income women, including Medicaid and Medicare recipients.

This initiative aims to combat the alarming statistic that one in eight women will face a breast cancer diagnosis, emphasizing that early detection through preventive screenings like mammograms significantly increases treatment effectiveness.
