The Arkansas Department of Human Services (DHS) has announced the Arkansas Lifespan Respite Voucher Program to help caregivers pay for temporary, short-term respite care.
Sindhu Malapati, MD, has joined the breast team in the Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS), where she is treating patients with breast cancer.

Washington Regional now offers Aquablation therapy for the treatment of lower urinary tract symptoms due to benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) or enlarged prostate.
BPH is a non-cancerous condition where the prostate has grown to be larger than normal. Half of men ages 51 to 60 have BPH, and the incidence increases every decade of life. If left untreated, BPH can lead to significant health problems, including permanent bladder or kidney damage, bladder stones, and incontinence.
CHI St. Vincent announced that Alyssa Peters, MD, has joined the team of leading pulmonologists at the CHI St. Vincent Pulmonology Disease and Critical Care Medicine Clinic in Hot Springs. Peters is now seeing patients at the clinic, located at 1 Mercy Lane, Suite 301.
