The UAMS Health Epilepsy and Neurology Clinic has opened in Freeway Medical Tower, offering comprehensive care from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) for epilepsy and multiple sclerosis in a convenient Midtown location.
The clinic is located in Suite 605 of the Freeway Medical Tower, 5800 W. 10th St., just off Interstate 630.
A $10.6 million grant from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) will allow the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) to greatly expand its proteomics resource. This grant will establish the IDeA National Resource for Quantitative Proteomics as the first NIH National Resource in Arkansas, which will serve biomedical researchers across the nation.
Proteomics is the large-scale study of proteins that can lead to the development of new therapies and screening approaches for many diseases, including cancer.
Jessica Strack, a physician assistant, is now a part of Conway Regional Health System. Strack joins Laura Massey, MD, and Sarah Robertson, MD, at Conway Medical Group.
Strack is an alumna of Harding University, where she achieved her Master of Science in physician assistant studies. She has worked as a healthcare provider in Central Arkansas for the past 11 years.
