Jason Jones, MD, recently joined Washington Regional as a hospitalist, where he evaluates and treats hospitalized patients.

Jones earned his medical degree at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and completed an internal medicine residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He is a member of the American College of Physicians and the American Medical Association.

CHI St. Vincent Infirmary ranks first in cardiology, heart surgery, and orthopedics among Arkansas hospitals according to the latest Best Regional Hospital rankings released by U.S. News & World Report. The 2020–21 Best Hospitals rankings from U.S. News & World Report was based on independent analysis of multiple data categories, including patient outcomes, volume of high-risk patients, patient experience, nurse staffing, and advanced clinical technologies.

Baptist Health is installing 432 Amazon Echo Show devices in potential COVID-19 patient rooms at nine of the healthcare system’s hospitals to offer a new and improved way that clinicians can visit with their patients through video communication.

Echo Show devices and deployment support are being donated to Baptist Health by Amazon as part of its $5 million global initiative to help healthcare workers, patients, students, and communities impacted by COVID‑19.

Chenal Family Therapy PLC announced the promotion of Tina Shrader to clinical director of their flagship West Little Rock office.

Shrader, a licensed professional counselor, joined the company in 2018 and has previously served as a child and adolescent therapist, as well as assistant clinical director of the West Little Rock office.
