With the number of COVID-19 cases increasing in the state and the first case in Northwest Arkansas, Mercy opened a drive-through COVID-19 evaluation site in Rogers.

The Mercy Coronavirus Evaluation Site is exclusively for patients who have a fever of at least 100.4 degrees and respiratory symptoms including cough or shortness of breath and either travel to a high-risk area or have contact with a known patient. Anyone seeking a test must call Mercy’s Coronavirus Evaluation Site line at (479) 717-7585 before arriving. Those not pre-screened will be turned away.

No visitors will be allowed in the medical center or outpatient clinics at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) main campus in Little Rock.

UAMS is taking these steps during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic to protect its patients, who are among the most vulnerable in the state, and to reduce the ever-increasing workload for UAMS staff.

Baptist Health has established a hotline for residents to call in with their concerns about the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

The hotline is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week by calling (888) BAPTIST, and is staffed by nurses to help residents better understand their conditions and receive direction on next steps for care should they be concerned about exposure to COVID-19.
