Baptist Health Family Clinic-Salem Road recently welcomed Corey Greene, APRN, to the clinic’s team of providers.

Greene attended the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville for undergraduate studies. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) in 2016 and, later, a Master of Nursing Science (MNSc) from UAMS in 2023.

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) received a $200,000 gift from J. Thomas “Tommy” May and Kathryn May to elevate the J. Thomas May Endowed Chair in Department of Neurology in the UAMS College of Medicine to a distinguished chair.

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) is holding a free 2026 Multiple Sclerosis Symposium on March 14 to discuss treatment options and research initiatives and to hear from Arkansans living with the disease.

The event will be held from 10 a.m. to noon on the 12th floor of the Jackson T. Stephens Spine & Neurosciences Institute on UAMS’ Little Rock campus. For those unable to attend in person, it will also be available on Zoom.

Boozman College of Public Health Department of Environmental Health Sciences, is among a coalition of researchers assessing if damage in DNA happens on the same side that cancer mutations occur.

Baptist Health Community Outreach, in partnership with the Arkansas Hunger Relief Alliance, is launching the Arkansas Fruit & Vegetable Prescription Program for community members. 

This initiative aims to improve health outcomes by providing free fruits and vegetables every month to residents who have a diet-related health condition such as diabetes or hypertension and meet income requirements.
