Head and neck surgeon Chelsey Warmack Smith, MD, has joined the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS). She sees patients in the Head and Neck Cancer Clinic in the UAMS Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute and the Ear, Nose and Throat Clinic in the UAMS Jackson T. Stephens Spine & Neurosciences Institute.

The Schmieding Home Caregiver Training Program of the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) will hold free family caregiver workshops Feb. 23 and March 2 for those who would like to learn about caring for an adult with dementia or Alzheimer’s disease.

Baptist Health will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony for Baptist Health Women’s Center-Conway on Feb. 7 at 10 a.m. The location of the ceremony is 1555 Exchange Ave., Conway.

The center will have a Level 2 specialty care nursery staffed by a clinical team that can care for babies born as early as 32 weeks.

CARTI’s Ragin’ Cajun Bash, benefitting CARTI’s Ray of Hope Patient Assistance Network, will be held April 20 from 6-9 p.m. in the War Memorial Stadium in Little Rock.
