The Arkansas Department of Human Services’ Division of Medical Services (DMS) has released the results of its 2016 Patient Engagement Satisfaction Survey, which included both patient and provider surveys. DMS contracted with AFMC, a National Committee for Quality Assurance- (NCQA) certified Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set (HEDIS®) survey vendor, to conduct the study.

“The Luminary Project helps to connect people who care about cancer patients by giving them the opportunity to honor or memorialize someone with a gift that will benefit others fighting cancer,” says event chair Mary Jane Yingling, who also serves as auxiliary first vice president.

Baptist Health announced that Cowherd Family Medical Center in Heber Springs, which has had a long-standing presence in the community, officially became part of the Baptist Health healthcare system on Monday, Nov. 14.
