White River Health System (WRHS) welcomed Chelsey Davis, RN, as the oncology nurse navigator at White River Medical Center (WRMC). Chelsey will be working with the Radiology Department as a patient advocate who sees patients through the entire cancer process including biopsies, surgeries, treatment, and recovery.

CHI St. Vincent announced that Dr. Syed Mustafa has joined the team of pulmonologists at the Pulmonology and Sleep Medicine Clinic in Hot Springs, and will begin seeing patients in July at the clinic, located at 1 Mercy Lane, Suite 401.
Healthcare Journal of Little Rock is transitioning to statewide coverage and will be the Healthcare Journal of Arkansas beginning with the July-August 2019 issue. “With the explosion of the state’s Northwest corridor and the importance of rural health, it was determined that a statewide Journal is not only appropriate, but needed in Arkansas,” said Smith Hartley, chief editor of US Healthcare Journals.
More than 45 Arkansas high school students received a unique opportunity to learn about medical education and healthcare through Project H.E.A.R.T., a four-day camp hosted by New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine-Arkansas.
