Entrepreneurs, investors, research scientists, service providers, and the public interested in technology companies that develop products to improve people’s lives and health are invited to the Arkansas Life Sciences Summit to be held Oct. 25 in Conway.
The event will showcase presentations from 11 of the fastest-growing technology companies with research and innovation in the life sciences conducted at Arkansas universities and private companies.

William “Bill” Ventres, MD, MA, assistant professor in the Department of Family and Preventive Medicine in the College of Medicine at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS), was recently invested as the holder of the Ben Saltzman, MD, Distinguished Chair in Rural Family Medicine.
